How to Fix a Facebook Ad Stuck in Review

Is your Facebook ad stuck in review?

Phew!

We can imagine the sleepless nights you might have had worrying about getting your ad approved.

We have been faced with this situation where our ads were neither approved nor disapproved, which went on for days. Believe us, we know how frustrating this could get.

Fixing a Facebook Ad Stuck in Review

1. Try turning on and off adsets

We can start with this. We can all agree that we have been there whenever our PC runs into trouble. We have tried rebooting our PC every time it encounters a problem before thinking about other possible solutions.

We recommend applying the same solution here as well.

turning on or off adset

Turn off your adsets and again, turn them on.

How do you do this?

Go to Facebook Ad Manager.

Click the toggle next to a campaign, ad set, or ad that you want to turn on or off.

2. Duplicate the ads

Simply, create duplicate copy of your ad, then, publish them. While some of these might get approved, some of them might get stuck in review. Follow this guide to duplicate your adset, or ads.

We found at least 70% of them getting approved after doing this.

3.  Images with embedded text

Sometimes, you might tend to use ads with images. There’s nothing wrong with using them. However, you need to be careful if your image has embedded text in it.

The ad might not get approved for this reason. If your image has embedded text, that might be causing it to be stuck in the pending review stage. Try removing the text from the image and then publishing the ads.

4. Contact support

If none of the above-mentioned techniques work, ask for help. Click on the below Facebook support link and request for support.

Once you reach out to the support team, they will approve your ad. In some cases, you might need to make some changes to your ad. based on the feedback offered by support team.

Facebook chat support

Check out the video below to know how to contact Facebook live support and chat with a customer support representative.

For the chat option to be accessible, a representative should be online. The representative’s availability is influenced by factors, such as advertiser level, country, time of day, and day of the week.

Once the representative is available, all your ads that are pending review will go through forced reviews. However, you need to be mindful of the fact that when changing your ad or adset, the 24-hour clock will be applicable.

We would recommend contacting the Facebook Support team as a last option. Try troubleshooting your adsets with the points listed before the last one. Most of the issues will be resolved. And if your ads are still pending approval, reach out to the Facebook Support team and get help.

If you have resolved a Facebook Ad Stuck in review using some other technique, we would love to hear from you.
